A special election will be held at Sumner Sportsmen’s club on Sept 10th 2022, the position of President and Vice Presidents will be nominated and elected. . If you are interested in either of these positions, please contact a board member and be prepared to serve for 2 years.
WSCA is governed by a Board of elected officers. They consist of a President, 1st Vice President, 2nd Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary. In general, the primary duties of the Board are to administer WSCA Board Member Elections, administer the Washington State Championship Shoot, and approve registered shoot dates for member clubs.
The Promotion and encouragement of organized, competitive Sporting Clays, NSCA 5-Stand and F.I.T.A.S.C. shooting among the residents of, and visitors to, the State of Washington. To increase among WSCA members the knowledge of the safe handling and proper care of firearms as well as improve the shotgun marksmanship through competition. To forward the development of those characteristics of honesty, fellowship, self-discipline, team play and self-reliance which are the essentials of good sportsmanship.
Election of Board Members:
Board Members will be elected at the annual meeting. The terms of office of each of the Board Member shall be 2 years. Nominations for eligible Board Member positions may be made in writing and presented to any sitting Board Member (See Members/Officers tab for email addresses) prior to the election. Nominees will be accepted up to 5 days prior to the election. Nominees must be contacted prior to their nomination and be willing to serve should they be elected. The highest single vote getter for each position will be elected to that office. Results of elections will be posted on the association Website.
