The WSCA Board recently voted to create a social media page via Facebook in hopes of more discussion and to get the word out to others about sporting clays.
If you have a Facebook account you can join the site from the following link:https://www.facebook.com/groups/211582742370242/
If not, consider joining Facebook to access our social media page.
We will continue to post scores and information on WSCA.
All WSCA board information will now be housed under its own tab. It will include Upcoming meetings, meeting minutes, updates, and election information
Several clubs (Seattle Skeet and Trap, Lost Pair Ranch and Upper Nisqually Sportsman Club) are now using ScoringPro. This application allows the clubs to get the scores posted the same day of the shoot because it is connected to NSCA and doesn’t have to be reentered into Excel. All information about shooters is right there. Also, NSCA updates ScoringPro nightly so if you have changed classes, it already knows.
;Registering ahead of time for a shoot, saves you and the club time. On the day of the shoot the club will have your name on a list so you don’t need to sign in at the desk. All you have to do is choose your station and pay. Plus, if you sign up and can’t go, it’s no big deal
;WSCA is encouraging all shooters to register in advance at these clubs.
Here is the link:;ScoringPro/Register Online, find the shoot (by date), and click ‘Register’ It’s that simple.
The WSCA board still has an open position for a VP. Wouldn’t you like to have input into your sport? Help promote sporting clays? It’s only 4 meetings a year and we are a fun bunch!
If interested, please contact any board member.
We have learned that a member of SST who was last at the club during the morning and early afternoon of Saturday March 14 has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. If you were at the club at any time between March 14 and March 16 when the club was closed, you may have been exposed even though we were taking precautions such as frequently cleaning surfaces throughout the day.
As a consequence of this possible exposure, if you were at the club during this time period, you should pay special attention to your health and watch for any of the potential symptoms of this infection. If you exhibit the symptoms, please call your health care provider to determine the proper course of action. Should you be diagnosed with the virus, please let me know the date and time of your recent visits to the club so that we can determine whether additional notifications to members and friends are warranted.
As the supplier of non-essential services, SST will remain closed until current governmental restrictions are lifted.
SST Vice President
SST has announced they that they are closed until April 1 and will re-evaluate at that time and UNSC has cancelled their March shoot (next shoot is May but they may re-evaluate at that time).Lost Pair Ranch has also canceled the March 28th shoot.
Please make sure you check here or on FB regarding club closures before heading out to shoot. Hunker down, stay healthy and safe so we can get back to shooting.
