Russ Knightingale passed away peacefully yesterday after a debilitating fight with Melanoma cancer.
Russ was a friend to practically everyone and worked tirelessly for Seattle Skeet and Trap. He was a true competitor that supported and helped all shooters’ to reach their goals.
Russ will be missed by the entire clay target shooting community.

As most of you know, volunteering can be a thankless job, yet that is what we need…. more shooters (you) to volunteer to be on the WSCA board.
If you are passionate about this sport, please think about volunteering to be on the board and attending the annual board meeting. To be held, July 2nd (after the last afternoon flight) near the clubhouse. The future of the board depends on you!,
The WSCA Facebook page has been renamed to Washington State Sporting Clay Shooters. This is a forum where shooters in WA can discuss information about sporting clays in Washington and to promote our sport. It is not part of the association. If you’re not on Facebook, considering joining this site https://www.facebook.com/groups/211582742370242
With the interrupted season raising potential issues for shooters and NSCA member clubs, the NSCA Executive Council continues to meet weekly by conference call to address the unique challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic.
In their May 4 meeting, the NSCA Executive Council made the decision to allow punches earned during the 2019 shoot year to be carried over to 2021. This decision will alter rule V-A-2-e of the 2020 NSCA Rule Book for the 2021 shoot year only.
We appreciate your help in informing the membership of this rule alteration. For more information, contact NSCA Assistant Director Nichole Bowers, 210-688-3371, ext. 255.
